About Dezlee Hancock

Dezlee is a Realtor, a Mom, a Wife, a Grandma, a Friend, an Advisor, and an Advocate. And a woman whose personal and professional life has required better conversations, and better connections, at every stage of her journey. From disfunctional and painful, to heartfelt and courageous, she outlines the patterns and processes for connecting meaningfully with others with the words we speak.

You know how sometimes you need to have a conversation with someone but you don’t know how to do that? Or maybe you had a conversation with someone and it went south. Or maybe there is one person, or more, in your life that it is always hard to communicate with. Maybe that someone is you?

This was my world until one day I reached a crisis and decided to do something about it. I worked really hard at learning and practicing the art of conversations and I found better relationships and a life I always wanted; connection, love, meaning and amazing journeys. All because of the words I used.

You can do the same.

Change your conversations and you can change your life. It is not easy but the result is so worth it. Everything starts with a conversation, how are we doing with them? We often think it is the people around us who need to change when the only change that needs to happen is the one we can do something about:

YOU.

Heartfelt Connections

"Have you ever read a book and felt your whole life shift? Heartfelt Connections is that book! After studying Human Behavior for over 35 years, it’s rare that I find a book about personal development that really moves me. Dezlee has created something truly soul-filling in the pages of this book. Her unique way of helping you really connect with yourself and then be equipped to honestly connect with others is nothing short of powerful. The real-life stories she shares, the practical ‘Purple Heart’ questions she asks, and the guided ‘How-To’ steps she offers are nothing short of pivotal. I can’t wait to share this book with everyone I know and love!"
